Warren
Harrison is Professor of Computer Science at Portland State University.
His research interests include software engineering, Internet technologies and computer forensics for law enforcement. Professor Harrison's software engineering research includes return on investment for process improvements, software quality assurance, software measurement, and empirical studies of software engineering. His Internet-related research includes migration of Wired applications to the Wireless Web and asynchronous HTTP access. His work in computer forensics revolves around automated evidence collection. He serves as managing Editor-in-Chief of the Empirical Software Engineering Journal and past EIC of the Software Quality Journal. He has served as a columnist as well as a member of the editorial board for IEEE Software and is co-Program Chair for METRICS 2003. His Ph.D. is from Oregon State University.
